Stiletto catamarans made their mark on sailing history in 1976 when the original Stiletto 27 was launched as one of the most technologically advanced sailboats ever built in production. 40 years later, hundreds of Stiletto Catamarans are still sailing faster than most any catamaran in her size range. The process and materials used to produce this cat were way ahead of her time, but what really stands out about this boat is the stories that she can tell.
There were around 500 Stilettos produced new from 1976 to 1986 when new production stopped, but the Stiletto history certainly did not stop there. These 500 boats have been sailed, traded, modified, and loved by many. And the real mark that Stiletto make is not on the sailing world or the racecourses, but on the lives are touched through the adventures, relationships, and discoveries made on the stage set by Stiletto Sailing.

As I stand here looking over our newly refit Stiletto, I can’t resist reflection. I feel that trepidation of the exact moment a roller coaster car peaks at the top and stalls. It is that split second before the fall when you know whats coming but have no choice to turn back. You’re on this ride now and it is definitely “Game Time”.
